About Course

Fire Instructor II/III meets the requirements of NFPA 1041, this course is designed to take an Instructor I to the next level and improve their knowledge, skills, and abilities as a fire service instructor. Students will review the general knowledge material that they learned in Instructor I and apply the following new information:

• Lesson plan development
• Instructor and course evaluations
• Student testing instruments
• Course and evolution management
• Administrative duties
• Supervision and management
• Administration of records, policies, and personnel
• Analysis and evaluation
• Program and curriculum development
