Basic Auto Extrication

About Course

Auto Extrication – Students will learn a variety of topics relating to the subject of vehicle extrication from both an EMS and Rescue perspective. This course will end with the students participating in a hands-on rescue evolution using the skills learned during the course. Students will learn about:

• New vehicle technology
• Alternative vehicle fuel systems
• Vehicle rescue life cycle
• Vehicle rescue safety
• Commanding the vehicle rescue incident
• Collision trauma
• Vehicle rescue tools and equipment
